So I snagged Pokémon Soul Silver on Monday. It came out Sunday, and while I did pre-order it, I reserved my copy downtown (and I wasn’t anywhere near Toronto on Sunday. Or most Sundays). Anyway, I didn’t get the cool pre-order statuette, but I still got the game, and I must say, it’s amazing!
It’s a great nostalgia trip (Pokémon Silver was the first video game I ever owned, and I have dear memories with it). They’ve made lots of great changes as well, including the Pokéwalker device, which allows you to carry around one Pokemon from the game in real life (training it and catching other Pokemon when you’re on the go). It’s kinda dorky, but it’s really small and it’s easy to hide if you don’t want people to see it. I, on the other hand, flash it around like it’s my pride and joy. Which it is.
